Submit a domestic violence report
Domestic violence is a public crime, which means it can be reported by anyone who has knowledge of the facts. It does not require a formal complaint from those involved, namely the victim.
The report can be submitted in person, by telephone or online.

In person:
To submit the report, you must present your identification document.
By telephone:
To submit the report, you must provide the details of your identification document.
Online:
You must authenticate on the Queixa Eletrónica portal (Electronic Complaint System Portal) using one of the following methods:
- Digital Mobile Key (Chave Móvel Digital – CMD)
- Portuguese Citizen Card (Cartão de Cidadão)
- Via CTT
