A company’s annual accounts gathers accounting, tax and statistical information.
Information on submission of accounts’ registries is stored in the Annual Accounts Database (BDCA) and may be consulted online.

The price of subscribing an annual accounts electronic certificate varies according to its subscription period:
- 1 year: 5 €
- 2 years: 7 €
- 3 years: 9 €
- 4 years: 10 €
Requesting a certificate of annual accounts online is cheaper than requesting it at the service desk. If you request the certificate at a service desk, it costs an additional 15 euros.
If you request a paper certificate, it will cost 55 euros.
Access to database
The cost of annual subscription to the database varies according to the number of accesses you wish per year:
- up to 5.000 accesses: 3.500 €
- up to 10.000 accesses: 8.000 €
- up to 25.000 accesses: 22.500 €
- up to 50.000 accesses: 50.000 €
- up to 100.000 accesses: 110.000 €
- up to 200.000 accesses: 240.000 €.
How request certificate of annual accounts from the commercial registry?
To request a certificate of annual accounts, access the Online Company page. You will need to state:
- your name
- your NIF
- your email
- your mobile number
- NIPC of the company you are going to request the certificate
- financial year.
The certificate may be requested in Portuguese or in English.
The certificate is consulted online using an access code, which is available for a period of 1 to 4 years from the moment the certificate is requested.
You can choose to subscribe access to the Annual Accounts Database.
As an alternative to the certificate, you can access the Annual Accounts Database by subscribing the service for a period of one year.
To place the request, fill in the Business Statistics form. You will need to state:
- your name
- an email
- your cell phone number.
