It is now possible to request three new types of statements from Social Security Online Service (Segurança Social Direta). These new statements are:

• Proof of contact details
• Contributory career statement
• Statement of contributory status

These statements have a verification code that guarantees their authenticity.

How to access the statements

Statements can be issued via the following menus in Segurança Social Direta:

Profile > Personal details > Update contact details > Consult personal details > Download proof of contact details

Contributory career statement

Employment > Contributory career > Consult Contributory Career > Download Contributory Career Statement

Statement of contributory status

Current account > Contributory status > Download statement of contributory status) > Download new statement

To access Social Security Direct, simply authenticate with a Digital Mobile Key or through your Social Security Identification Number (NISS).
