The person responsible must deregister on the National Tourism Register portal within 30 working days after the company ceases trading, is dissolved or goes into receivership.

You do not need to submit any documents to report the closure of a tourist recreation company and to deregister.
To deregister on theNational Tourism Register portal, you will need to sign in using one of the following means of authentication:
- Digital mobile key (Chave Móvel Digital, CMD) or Portuguese Citizen Card (Cartão de Cidadão)
- Public: tax identification number (NIF) and password for accessing the Turismo website
- Public with Tax Office credentials: Login details for the Tax Office website (NIF and password)

Procedure
To cancel your registration, please follow these steps:
- Go to the National Tourism Registry portal and log in.
- In your private area, select the register you need.
- Choose the ‘Cancelar registo’ [Deregister] option.
- Fill in the reason (closure, dissolution or receivership) and state the date on which the company ceased trading.
- Confirm and submit the form.
