Geologia costeira - informação sobre execução de serviços

Provides information on the implementation of coastal geology services, through prior contact with the unit responsible.

The National Laboratory of Energy and Geology, PI (LNEG) provides specific equipment and technical-scientific knowledge for the achievement of coastal geology services in the following areas:

- Georeferencing of aerial photographs;
- Monitoring of changes in coastal zones;
- Characterization of current coastal morphology using differential GPS;
- Coring the subsurface layer using vibrocorer, suction and auger devices
- Imaging the internal stratigraphy of coastal dunes and coastal barriers using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR);
- Processing and interpretation of geophysical data of submerged coastal areas.
