How much
You don't have to pay any fees at the time of collection. The fee is charged when operators send the animals to the slaughterhouse or for export. If the animal or farm is not registered, the cost is charged at the time of collection.
The cost varies according to the species of animal and the class of adult or young animal.
Cattle
- Cattle aged 12 months or older — EUR 13.00
- Cattle under 12 months — EUR 7.80
Pigs
- fattening and breeding pigs — EUR 1.30
- piglets — EUR 0.13
Sheep and goats
- Adult sheep or goats — EUR 0.89
- lambs and kids — EUR 0.42
