Sistema comunitário de ecogestão e auditoria (EMAS) - manutenção do registo
Allows a company to request their registration maintenance under the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).
The objective of EMAS is to promote continuous improvements in the environmental performance of organisations by the establishment and implementation of environmental management systems by organisations, the systematic, objective and periodic evaluation of the performance of such systems, the provision of information on environmental performance, an open dialogue with the public and other interested parties and the active involvement of employees in organisations and appropriate training.

- A Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente, I.P. receciona o pedido e cobra a taxa devida.
- Após análise dos documentos, e liquidada a respetiva taxa, a entidade pronuncia-se sobre a decisão de manutenção do registo no EMAS.
O procedimento de manutenção do registo no EMAS encontra-se devidamente definido no ponto 5.4.1 - Atualização da Declaração Ambiental do documento “Procedimento de registo das organizações no Sistema Comunitário de Ecogestão e Auditoria (EMAS)” - SQ.E.O.01.
