Applications open for support for the energy transition and decarbonisation of maritime transport

Applications are now open for the support that promotes the adaptation of goods and passenger transport ships, making them non-polluting or zero-emission. This support is non-repayable meaning that it does not need to be repaid.
Who can apply?
- Ship owners established in Portugal.
- Ship owners.
The main objectives are
- Reduce polluting emissions from maritime transport.
- Encourage the use of alternative, low- and zero-carbon fuels.
- Improve energy efficiency and promote digitalisation on board.
How can you apply? Via the Balcão dos Fundos, by filling in the available form.
Application deadline: Applications are open between 26 March and 17:59 on 9 May 2025.
