Opening of the new Citizen Shop in Ribeira de Pena

The Citizen Shop in Ribeira de Pena opened to the public on Monday, June 9, 2025. Located in Praça do Município, the new space has several public entities in one place, as well as a Citizen Spot where you can handle many services at a single counter.

Available services

At the Ribeira de Pena Citizen Shop you can take care of several services such as:

• Citizen Spot - Renewal of the Citizen Card for those over 25 and services related to the Driving License
• Tax and Customs Authority (Finanças) - Support with assets, income, tax enforcement, litigation and payments
• Ribeira de Pena Town Hall - Licensing and treasury services
• Institute for Registries and Notaries (IRN) - Application, renewal, collection of Citizen Card and Passport, matters related to civil registration (certificates, births, marriage/divorce, deaths), land registration applications and certificates, vehicle registration and commercial registration and other services
• Institute for Social Security - Booking services and treasury

• Tax and Customs Authority: Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. / 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Social Security: Monday to Friday: 9am-1pm / 2pm-4pm
