Funding available for fishing and aquaculture operators in Madeira

Applications for compensation for the additional costs of fishing and aquaculture in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ARM) are open until June 2, 2025.

In addition to supporting the competitiveness of companies in the sector, the support aims to offset higher operating costs due to the geographical location of companies.

You can apply for this support:

• Natural or legal persons, domiciled or based in the ARM, who produce fishery or aquaculture products for sale
• Owners or operators of vessels registered in the ports of the ARM, operating in the region, or their associations
• Operators in the processing and marketing sector in the ARM, or their associations.

To apply, you must

• Log on to the Balcão dos Fundos portal
• Fill in the form available in the applications area 
• Submit the necessary documents.

Applications must be submitted by 6pm on June 2, 2025.
