Applications now open for support to purchase zero-emission vehicles

Starting today, 31 March, you can apply for the support scheme created to promote sustainable mobility and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This measure has a total budget of €15.5 million to help cut emissions in the transport sector, renew vehicle fleets, and encourage more sustainable ways of moving around.

Who can apply?

  • Individuals
  • Companies and other legal entities
  • Municipalities and other public sector bodies

The main goals are:

  • Promote electric mobility
  • Support the energy transition
  • Reduce the environmental impact of transport

How to apply:
Go to the Fundo Ambiental portal, click on “Apoios 2025” in the top menu, then select “Mitigação às alterações climáticas”.
Next, choose between passenger or goods vehicles and follow the application steps.

Application period:
Applications are open from 31 March to 30 November 2025, or until the total budget of €15.5 million is reached.
