Psychologist and nutritionist vouchers for higher education students

30.09.2024

Since 30 September, it is possible to request vouchers (cheques) for free psychology and nutrition appointments on the new gov.pt portal.

The vouchers are part of a set of government measures to support young people, especially higher education students. There are 100,000 Psychologist Vouchers and 50,000 Nutritionist Vouchers available, distributed nationwide by public and private higher education institutions that have signed up to the voucher programme.

Each student whose voucher request is accepted will be entitled to between 2 and 12 psychology appointments and 1 to 6 nutrition appointments, as indicated by the health professional.

Appointments are made directly with the psychologists and nutritionists who have signed up to the voucher programme.

Both services are now available on the new gov.pt portal. Check out the information on each one and apply via the following pages:

The digital services for requesting Psychologist and Nutritionist Vouchers were developed by the Administrative Modernisation Agency (AMA), in collaboration with the Directorate General for Higher Education (DGES), the entity responsible for the service, and in collaboration with the Order of Psychologists and the Order of Nutritionists.
