Fairground identifier available on the id.gov.pt app

The fairground or street vendor identification card is now available on the id.gov.pt mobile app.

The fairground identifier is legal proof of the submission of a mere prior communication to carry out the activity of fairground or street vendor and replaces the need to present this proof on paper, all you need to do is have the app installed on a smartphone. Digital documents added to the id.gov.pt app have the same validity as original documents. Validity can be checked via the app, installed on another mobile device, using the "QR code" feature.

To install the id.gov.pt app (Android, iOS or Huawei) on the mobile phone, the user must have the Digital Mobile Key (CMD) active, and the CMD is required for all the app's functionalities.

With the identifier of the fairground or street vendor, there are now 15 documents that can be added to the id.gov.pt app. The documents are:

Civil ID:

  • Citizen's Card
  • Youth Card

Motor Vehicle:

  • Driving Licence
  • Registration certificate (DUA)

Health:

  • ADSE card
  • Military Sickness Assistance Card (ADM)
  • Blood Donor Card

Professional:

  • Employee Card
  • Port worker's card
  • Cultural Professional Card
  • Firefighter's Identification Card
  • Order of Architects
  • Fairground identifier

Military:

  • Defence digital identification
  • Former Combatant Card
