Inaugurada ampliação da Área de Localização Empresarial de Porto de Mós

The Porto de Mós Business Location Area was inaugurated, a project that is expected to create 200 new jobs in the region. The aim of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses and internationalize the region's economy. 

The work began in 2022 and arose from the need to increase the space and supply of the old industrial zone. In the 1st phase of the project, 35 new plots were built - 24 for industry, eight for commerce and storage, two for services and one for equipment. These plots were allocated to companies before the inauguration.

The project also included work on various infrastructures such as roads, signposting and safety, the basic sanitation network, the water network, the gas network, the electrical and telecommunications infrastructures and exterior arrangements.

The project received support from the Centro 2020 Operational Program and funding from the European Union.
