Queluz now has a Citizen Shop
The new Queluz Citizen Shop opened its doors to the public on the top floor of the Municipal Market on Monday 16 June 2025. In addition to the various service counters, this shop has a Citizen Spot that allows you to deal with dozens of services at a single counter.
Services available
The Queluz Citizen Shop has several service counters where you can deal with various services:
- Institute for Registries and Notaries (IRN): Issue and renewal of the Portuguese Citizen Card and Passport.
- Institute for Social Security (ISS): Family allowance, supplements (elderly, dependency), sickness benefit, parenthood, special disability protection.
- Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA): Residence authorisation, family reunification.
- Sintra Town Hall: Licensing of economic activities, local accommodation, social action, certificates, payments, Citizen Card, Driving Licence, Digital Mobile Key.
- Sintra Municipal Water and Sanitation Services (SMAS): Contracts, water and sanitation connections and inspections, membership and reinforcement of bio-waste bags.
