All citizens over the age of 18, including foreign citizens legally resident in Portugal, can vote on the SIMPLEX 2025 proposals until May 15. 

SIMPLEX is a government program that makes public services simpler, more accessible and more people-centered.

The proposals up for vote

There are proposals from various areas, such as health, mobility, social security and municipal communication. Each citizen can vote for one of these seven proposals:

• Creation of a pool of formal caregivers for the elderly
• Digitizing the dissemination of municipal notices
• Simplifying the legalization process for imported vehicles
• Integration of the mandatory inspection form into the gov.pt app
• Automatic issue of the European Health Insurance Card when renewing the Portuguese Citizen's Card
• Creation of a single platform for booking public services
• Provision of Social Security benefit simulators

How to vote?

1. Go to participa.gov.pt
2. Sign in with your Citizen Card or Digital Mobile Key
3. Choose the proposal you want to support.

The proposals with the most votes will be part of the measures in the next SIMPLEX program.
