The Company / Collective Person Card is available both in physical and electronic format and combines:

the Collective Person Identification Number (NIPC)
the social security number (NISS), when applicable
the name and registered head office of the entity
the main CAE (Statistical Classification of Economic Activities) and up to three secondary CAEs
the legal status
the date of incorporation
the access code to the annual accounts certificate
the access code to the electronic version of the Company or Collective Person Card.

O Cartão da Empresa e o Cartão de Pessoa Coletiva identificam diferentes tipos de entidades.

O Cartão de Empresa identifica:

sociedades
cooperativas
entidades públicas empresariais
estabelecimentos individuais de responsabilidade limitada (EIRLs)
agrupamentos complementares de empresas (ACE)
agrupamentos europeus de interesse económico (AEIE)
sucursais de entidades estrangeiras
trust
empresários individuais inscritos no Ficheiro Central de Pessoas Coletivas (FCPC)
e as restantes entidades sujeitas a registo comercial.

O Cartão de Pessoa Coletiva identifica:

associações (com ou sem utilidade pública)
fundações (com ou sem utilidade pública)
pessoas coletivas religiosas
organismos da administração pública
condomínios
associações de pais
e as restantes entidades inscritas no Ficheiro Central de Pessoas Coletivas (FCPC), mas não sujeitas a registo comercial.
