Fazer a habilitação de herdeiros com registo e partilha dos bens

O pedido de habilitação de herdeiros com partilha e registo custa 425 euros.

Quando se trata de habilitação de herdeiros cujas pessoas titulares são casadas entre si, acresce 50 euros ao valor base.

Ao valor podem ainda ser adicionados outros custos, tais como as consultas às bases de dados do IRN (com valores entre 10 e 25 euros) e 25 euros por cada registo de aquisição de bens imóveis até ao limite de 30.000 euros:

• 30 euros por imóvel, quota ou participação social
• 20 euros por cada bem móvel
• 15 euros se se tratar de ciclomotor ou motociclo, triciclo ou quadriciclo com cilindrada não superior a 50 cm3.

Pode pagar das seguintes formas:

• Multibanco
• Dinheiro
• Cheque visado ou cheque bancário à ordem do IRN, I.P. (em  euros  e  sacado  sobre  conta domiciliada em território nacional)
• Vale postal, em euros, a favor do IRN, I.P.

Embora não seja obrigatório, o processo deve iniciar-se até ao final do terceiro mês após a morte da pessoa. 

Se o processo for iniciado após essa data, o Instituto dos Registo e Notariado (IRN) informa as Finanças, que irá aplicar eventuais coimas.

You can make the request at one of the following three Registry offices:

• Espaço Óbito
• Notary office
• Inheritance counter of the Institute of Registries and Notary (IRN), available at Conservatories and Citizen Shops.

1. Before contacting the services to request the registration and division of heirs, ensure you have all the necessary documents for the process.
2. Visit the counter to schedule the registration of heirs. You can also book an appointment online through the Siga portal and the mobile application sigaApp (Android/iOS).
   • If you book an appointment at the counter, you must submit all the necessary documents for review at that moment.
   • If you book online, you must send the required documents by post to the counter where you scheduled the appointment.
3. The services will review the request and the submitted documents. You may be contacted if additional documents are required. After this review, the services will set the date and time for the registration of heirs.
4. Any additional documents requested must be submitted at least 5 working days before the scheduled date. If it is not possible to submit them within the deadline, a new date will be scheduled for the registration of heirs.
5. On the scheduled day, after signing, the registration of assets will be completed.
